Braintree Town - Fleet Trust Article

Good Evening everyone. A new season has arrived and I for one can't wait! Even with Euro 2012 and The Olympics there's nothing worse than waiting for the football season to get going again. I hope you've all enjoyed the pre-season friendlies and here's hoping for a good start against Braintree.

I have a few updates for you, the main one being that to help you get a better service from your Trust we've had a bit of a move around. The Club Shop will now be purely for shop business. All Trust matters will be dealt with at the new Trust Stand in the Social Club. Come along, say hello and meet some of your Trust board members.

Now there's alot of Trust board members doing a great job for you and the football club but we appreciate that not everyone knows who we are so here's a list of everyone and their roles so you know who to go to if you have a problem - Graham McQueen (Chairman), Emily Connolly (Vice Chairman), Kevin Johncock (Society Secretary), Jessica McQueen (Treasurer), Mike Moyes (Club Shop/Trust Website), Chris Pilkington (Away Travel), Steve East, Alan Mitchell and Sandra Saunders (Fundraising), Phil Moss and Rob Mucci (Corporate/New Initiatives) and Brian Glover (I.T).

Trust Membership
If your membership is due for renewal or you'd like to become a member then come along and see us at the trust stand. We'll have a list of all our current members incase you want to check your renewal date. Membership starts from just £10 for the year and you can upgrade to red membership at £60 a year or gold membership at £120 a year. Details of the different memberships are available here or come along and see one of us for a chat about which membership level is right for you.

Away Travel
If you're interested in travelling to an away game with the Trust then come along to the Trust stand to find out prices and book your seat. Prices will differ for each game because of the distance travelled so come and speak to one of us for more details. Places will only be booked once your deposit is paid so make sure you don't miss out.

Players Fund
Thank you to everyone who has donated to Liam's Playing Budget whether it be through one off donations or monthly standing orders. This is a joint initiative with MyFootballClub and so far we have raised over £31,000 which is fantastic amount for the start of the season. We still have a long way to go to reach the target of £80,000 so if you haven't donated yet please do so at the Trust stand. BOSS Posters
The BOSS volunteers are doing a brillant job at getting posters distributed throughout Gravesham but we need more help. Could you deliver in Swanscombe or Gravesend town centre? Do you have local shops that would put up a poster? It doesn't matter if you put up 1 or 10 posters, we want to hear from you so if you can help please let me know.

Roof Challenge
Last season we launched the roof challenge and have been making steady progress reaching £2,800 so far. The stand has been dedicated to Liam so we can't kkeep the holes it's time to give him a new roof. Our target is £12,000 and you can donate at The Trust stand. We're looking for £50 donations and you'll get a name board displayed on the stand to show how you contributed to the cause. Take a look at the name boards on dispplay to get an idea of what you could have printed on to yours.
